Driving in Boston is hard... unless you stay in your lane! Join Boston Gaymers for a fun new Mario Kart World event that keeps everyone playing until the final round! Everyone starts in a qualifier round, and based on the results you'll shift into a lane that suits your preferred speed level. After each round, you'll shift lanes based on your rank in the last race.
Casual Lane – 100cc
Middle Lane – 150cc – earn 1.5x points
Fast Lane – 150cc with boosting items only – earn 2x points
After each round, you'll shift lanes based on your rank in the last race. Cumulative points scored in each grand prix will be tallied up, with multipliers awarded for the middle and fast lanes. Gaymers that score within the top 4 will face each other in the final round and compete for a plushie prize!
We are also featuring Mario Kart Double Dash!! It will be a side game unless there is enough interest for a tournament.
Come to Balance Patch by 7:30pm to sign up for a spot! Signups are free, but on a first come, first serve basis starting at 7pm. 24 players maximum for Mario Kart World, but there will be a waitlist and other games to play!
This is a free event! Come to the back area to play. Food and drinks are available to help recharge your boost.
