Paper Lantern Painting🏮

Inspired by the Dutch tradition of St Martin's Day (Sint-Maarten), join us for a relaxed creative session exploring the tradition of lanterns and light.

We'll decorate our own paper lanterns using colours, patterns and a little imagination. No previous experience is needed – just come along, get creative and enjoy some mindful making.

A lovely opportunity to learn about a little piece of Dutch culture while creating something of your own.No previous art experience is needed — just come as you are, enjoy a hot drink and spend some time making something by hand.

We’ll finish by lighting up our handmade lanterns and taking a short stroll along King Street together, sharing a little light and a moment of community.

Registration is free. The workshop will be confirmed once a minimum of 6 participants have registered.Once the group is confirmed, we’ll email you a confirmation and payment link.
If the minimum number isn’t reached 72 hours before the event, the workshop will be cancelled. No payment is required before confirmation.

Carve · Ink · Print · Hang out

Print Social is back — this time as an open mini print studio for the afternoon and evening.

Come and experiment with lino printing at your own pace, make something new, continue an existing project or simply spend a few hours making alongside other people.
We’ll have shared carving tools, rollers and inks available, and there’ll be someone around to help you get started if lino printing is new to you.
We encourage you to bring old fabric. t-shirt or tote bag to print on and give it a new life!

This is a social making session rather than a formal taught workshop, so you’re welcome to arrive anytime during the session and stay for as long as you like.

• Use of shared lino-cutting tools
• Printing inks and rollers
• Shared creative materials
• One drink or snack

*Lino blocks are not included and will be available to buy separately, or you’re welcome to bring your own.
