What does it mean to truly love, beyond time, religion, and reason? Join us for an inspiring discussion of The Forty Rules of Love by Elif Shafak. This unforgettable novel interweaves two parallel stories, one modern and one set in the 13th century, to explore the transformative power of love through the lives of Ella, a restless housewife, and Rumi, the great poet guided by the wandering dervish Shams of Tabriz.
We’ll meet at Lebkov & Sons in Rotterdam to unpack its timeless lessons on spirituality, connection, and what it means to awaken to love. As always, everyone gets a say in what we read next.
