Meander through the World's Worst Expo then waltk/talk/eat social
241 South Taaffe Street, Sunnyvale, CA, USSaw this and it looked interesting, so let's check this expo in Sunnyvale this Saturday. This looks like a vintage clothing/art fair with local food vendors, but I've never been, so not sure. To set realistic expectations, some of the things will probably be pricey, and I will NOT be there for all 8 hours! I'll likely get there around 3:30ish and post where I am in the comment thread, but you're welcome to come earlier or later and use the comments to find other people.
This is right next to Downtown Sunnyvale, so there are a bunch of restaurants (DishDash is great), a couple dive bars, a great gelato spot, couple dessert spots, boba, and Tipsy Putt within a 10 minute walk of here, so after we explore the expo, we can pick a nearby spot to hang out. Also keep in mind finding the group in large open events like this is tricky! If you show up late/can't find us post a comment including where you are and what you're wearing/how we can find you, and we'll come and get you. You can also hang out and enjoy this by yourself, since there's lots of people, food, and drinks - feel free to walk around and mingle with others. You're also free to bring however many people you want - this is an outdoor event with no hard capacity, but Meetup limits the guest options.
GETTING THERE
This is right next to the Sunnyvale Caltrain stop. so if you live near a Caltrain station, do yourself a favor and take Caltrain and save yourself the hassle of parking (try https://transitapp.com/en/trip specifically for public transit if you haven't)There are parking lots nearby, but you'll need to find out which one still has spots when you get there :) If you've come to past events and met people you've kept in touch with, try to carpool if you're comfortable doing so.
