About us
A group for building connections and community together through a variety of activities such as walking groups, card/board game evenings, after Parkrun breakfast, reading clubs, and a variety of other sport and social gatherings.
The idea is to build an inclusive community to combat isolation and support each other in a wide variety of shared interests (excluding drinking/parties).
A no fee group, there is an optional place to donate towards yearly costs if so inclined. We operate an open policy for showing incoming and outgoings through the BCMS Expense Tracker application.
Do note, there is a no-show policy in place whereby if you are marked as a no-show 3 times without further communicating with us, you will not be able to book on events until a discussion is held with an organiser. In addition, if you have not accessed the group in over 6 months, you will be removed from the group with option to rejoin.

What to bring: Bring your own book/ reading material (in any format you like), be ready to share what you are reading, and, most importantly, bring yourself and enjoy a quiet afternoon in the company of others.
