The Christmas Lights at Lake Lafarge are notably one of the best Christmas Light displays in the Lower Mainland. It is a 1.2 km Walk around the lake. Last year we did it twice and stopped for Hot Chocolate between rounds. With it being a weekend there should also be food trucks, however the schedule of which food trucks are there, when has not been published, as yet.
LET'S Meet at the bottom of the stairs by the FLOWER BED that in the summer spells COQUITLAM -- this is on the WEST SIDE and in line with the FOUNTAIN. LET'S MEET at 6:00 - SEE THE MAP I HAVE POSTED IN THE PHOTOS
Weather is predicted to be COLD but CLEAR. DRESS WARM. IF THE WEATHER CHANGES I WILL CHANGE THE DATE - I don't enjoy doing this in the rain. (So keep your notifications turned on.) Parking is very busy but the Parking Counter helps.
## Parking Info
There is limited on-site parking at Town Centre Park and, due to the popularity of this event, it can get busy. Visitors are encouraged to walk or take public transit.

There are also additional parking lots around Coquitlam City Hall that can be accessed via Burlington Drive, as well as a TransLink Park and Ride lot located at the corner of Pinetree Way and Guildford Way.
