Trek For Hope was established in 2013 to provide opportunities to families that are struggling to survive in their own communities. As adventurers, trekkers, and photographers, we often noticed that the intense beauty of a community attracted many visitors to villages throughout the world, yet the people in those villages did not have enough money to feed their children.

Each footstep we leave is a legacy and the legacy of Trek For Hope is to provide the basic essentials that a village may not have.
Our Trek For Hope has received coverage on major publications like The Straits Times, U-Weekly, Zaobao, Singapore International Magazine, and What’s Up.

We'll walk from Hillview MRT Exit A towards Diary Farm Carpark B, Wallace Trail, Rifle Range, heading towards Rifle Range Nature Park, stop at Colugo Deck for some photos, walk along Rail Corridor, Wallace Trail and back to Diary Farm Carpark B

Suitable for beginners.

Upper Thomson MRT (TE8), 1 Jalan Keli,, Singapore, SG
NATURE WALK from Macritchie Nature Trail, Tree Top Walk to Chestnut Nature Park.
Estimated Walking distance: 12km to 14km

Meeting point: (TE8) Upper Thomson MRT station, Exit 4 street level
Meeting Time: 8:00am
We will leave promptly at 8.05am.

Ending Point: Bukit Panjang
Expected to end around 12pm to 12:30pm/1pm.

Same rules do apply.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and light clothing

We will be walking at a moderate pace. Do join us if you are of good physical condition.

Participants can drop out anytime during the walk, but do inform the event host.

Advisable to bring some energy food, snacks bar along the way as there will not be any breakfast stop except toilet stop and short break at the Park.

In case of Cat 1 (bad weather); any change of plans will be announced on the morning of hike. Route may change according to weather conditions.

Training Program-Focusing on stamina, mental resilience, and consistent pacing with no long breaks.

⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍Meetup: Hillview MRT Exit A

🚶‍♂️Activity: Endurance Walk
📍Route: Hillview MRT→ Bukit Batok Nature Park→ Bukit Timah Nature Reserve → Dairy Farm Loop → Wallace Trail→ Zheng Hua Park → Bukit Panjang MRT→ The End

🧭 Distance: ~15km+++ (Let's see where our feet bring us)
🎯 Goal: Build endurance, no long pauses, consistent effort to test and stretch your limit
🧠 Training Guidelines
Hydration Strategy: Carry at least 1L of water. + electrolytes (no sugary drinks)
No Long Pauses: 1-3mins only if needed to regulate
Breathing: Inhale 3–4 steps, exhale 3–4 steps (rhythmic breathing)

🎒 What to Bring:

Minimum 1L of water

Light snacks or energy bars

Towel/small cloth

Rain gear or poncho (weather dependent)

Proper hiking shoes

Sunscreen and a cap

EZ-Link card / small cash for lunch

Note:
Train smart. This is not a race. The goal is to develop strength and endurance through consistent effort and mindful pacing.
