Today we explore one of the most dramatice sections of the Jurrassic coast. Hiking the fossil-rich bay at Kimmeridge and the panoramic viewpoint of Swyre Head - the highest point in Purbeck. A proper day of adventure and achievement.

A classic Dorset walk featuring chalk sea stacks of Old Harry Rocks, the golden beaches of Studland cliff paths, and quite countryside paths. It's a beautiful blend of coastal drama and peaceful walking with plenty of great photo opportunities.
Distance: 16 km | Ascent: 276 m | Grade 2: Moderate
Return for another relaxed evening and optional group dinnerMonday - Lulworth Cove Finale
We will finish with an iconic walk from Lulworth Cove. With Iconic views of the coastline including Durdle Door. A perfect final hike to end the trip on a high.
Distance: 14 km | Ascent: 479 m | Grade: 2-3 Moderate - Challenging
After the walk we will say our goodbyes in the afternoon and head home.Accommodation:

Join us as we escape to the quiet Essex countryside on this scenic 16.6 km circular walk from Kelvedon Station to the historic village of Coggeshall and back.

Expect a varied mix of peaceful farmland, tucked-away hamlets, and riverside walking — plus some of the region’s finest heritage architecture. We begin by heading south from Kelvedon, through open farmland and past Felix Hall, looping through the hedged paths of Leapingwells and Storey’s Wood.
The route then curves west, passing Curd Hall and quiet green lanes toward Coggeshall Hamlet, before entering the beautiful historic village of Coggeshall.
As we arrive, we pass the striking St Peter-ad-Vincula Church — a large Grade I listed parish church — before continuing through the heart of the village.
You’ll have a bit of time here to explore, grab a snack, or simply enjoy the heritage setting, with its timber-framed buildings and charming atmosphere.
From there, the route loops south to explore the remains of Coggeshall Abbey, a former 12th-century Cistercian monastery, and follows a peaceful stretch beside the River Blackwater before returning across scenic farmland to Kelvedon. The walk is mostly flat with gentle undulations, and a mix of wide tracks, grassy field paths, and a few short road sections.Highlights:
- Historic market village of Coggeshall, with nearly 200 listed buildings
- Grade I listed St Peter-ad-Vincula Church
- Free time to explore Coggeshall or enjoy a snack
- The 12th-century Coggeshall Abbey ruins and tranquil riverside section

- Our walks go ahead in all weather, so dress appropriately. Always carry a waterproof jacket.
- Check the forecast and bring sun cream, a hat, or sunglasses for warm days, and waterproofs, a warm hat, and gloves for cold or wet days.
- Wear trousers or leggings to reduce the risk of tick bites and nettle stings. Avoid denim or cotton.
- Sturdy walking shoes or boots are essential. Open-toe shoes are unsuitable.
- Bring at least 1.5 litres of water, lunch, and snacks, as there may be no opportunities to buy food or drinks along the route.

Join us for an afternoon out paddling the River Stort We will spend a relaxed day paddleboarding in Hertfordshire from Thorley Street towards Sawbridgeworth and back.
No experience needed & all equipment is included.

End time - 2.30pmWe embark on a scenic paddle along the River Stort, commencing at Thorley Street.
Our adventure will take us along the tranquil waters of the River Stort towards Sawbridgeworth and then back again. With a touch of luck, we might catch glimpses of majestic Herons, graceful Swallows, and elegant Great Crested Grebes along the way.

Safety:
Everyone will be provided a buoyancy aid and a quick release belt. You must be able to swim 20 meters.
The paddleboards are suitable for anyone up to 85kg / 13.5stone.
This session is run by a qualified and insured paddle Sport leader / instructor. Outdoor first aider, British Canoeing foundation rescue and safety qualified.What to wear/ bring:
- Leggings (not cotton) / tee shirt (not cotton) and trainers (that you don’t mind getting wet)
