ABOUT THIS EVENT
Join us with people from other Meetup groups for an End of Summer Singles House Party & Potluck on Saturday, September 5, at 6:30 PM at a private home in Placentia, CA. This event is for Singles ages 50+. Spend the evening making new friends, reconnecting with familiar faces, and enjoying great food, wine, and music in a relaxed, casual setting in a private home. For Potluck we ask that you bring a homemade dish or a quality entrée, side dish. This event is scheduled with multiple Meetup groups and space is limited. Everyone will initially be placed on the Wait List while we balance attendance. For security, all RSVPs will be verified before the home address is sent by text. RSVPs will close once the event reaches capacity, so reserve your spot early!

Registration: Everyone must register at this link: and complete the RSVP form with your information, your guest's information, the side dish you'll bring, your preferred entrée, and your payment method. When your RSVP and payment are received and verified, we'll text you the event address and additional details. Completed registration (RSVP, food selections and payment) must be completed and received by Sunday, August 23, 2026. No partial registration!
2. FOOD CHOICES (in addition to the potluck dishes people will bring)
A. Grilled BBQ Chicken
B. Homemade Fresh Pizza
C. Won’t be having a main food choice, but will be bringing a side dish
3. REFUND POLICY: Because this event requires advance payment to purchase meat, pizza dough, propane, and other food ingredients, only 30% of your payment is refundable if you decide to cancel. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 days of the event. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your paid reservation to another person, including a Meetup member, friend, or family member. If you transfer your reservation, please provide us with their full name and contact information so we can send them the event address, parking instructions, and other important event details. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

This event will be held at a private residence in Placentia. Once we receive your registration information and payment, we will send you the address along with parking instructions.
ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES
Everyone who RSVPs for this event agrees to read, accept and comply to these Attendance Guidelines listed below. These guidelines are to ensure the safety and security of our members and attendees. It also ensures the integrity of the event by holding everyone accountable to honor their RSVP.
1. ATTENDANCE: Everyone who attends an event must RSVP and be on the "wait" list until their information and payment is received. As mentioned above, this event is scheduled with multiple Meetup Groups, so there will be more people that have RSVP’d for this group. Completed registration (RSVP, food selections and payment) must be completed and received by Sunday, August 23, 2026. No partial registration!
2. NOTIFICATIONS: Updates and other important information will be sent out, so everyone who RSVP’s for this event must provide their cellphone number to receive these updates and information.
3. PROFILE PHOTOS & NAMES: To help us identify all attendees, your profile must include a current, clear, unobstructed photo of yourself. Profile photos may NOT include:
• Sunglasses, hats, face coverings, or scarves that obscure your face
• Group photos
• Photos of animals, nature, or other non-person images
• Blurry or low-quality photos
• Shirtless, provocative, or suggestive photos
Your profile name must be your real first name only. Do not use titles, nicknames, initials, abbreviations, symbols, numbers, or other characters.
4. BEHAVIOR: All attendees are expected to be respectful, courteous, considerate, sober, and conduct themselves appropriately at all times. Gossip, arguments, and discussions likely to create conflict are prohibited. This includes negative or argumentative discussions about politics, wars, race, religion, other people, other Meetup groups, or any other divisive topics. Profanity, obscene language, and offensive remarks are not permitted. Sexual harassment will not be tolerated. This includes unwanted touching, leering, suggestive comments, sexually explicit language, or any other unwelcome behavior of a sexual nature. Stalking is strictly prohibited. Attending events for the purpose of following, monitoring, or harassing another member is grounds for immediate removal. Unsolicited Meetup messages are prohibited. Unless you already know another member personally, do not contact them through Meetup messaging without their consent. Please report any violations to the event host. Violators may be removed from the group and reported to Meetup.
5. HEALTH: If you’re not feeling well, have any of the following symptoms we respectfully ask that you not attend this event to prevent the possible spread of infection: cough, sneezing, sniffles, rash, fever, chills, body aches, nasal drip, ear ache, etc.
6. EVENT PHOTOS: Photos and videos may be taken by organizers and attendees during events and may be posted on Meetup, social media, or other promotional materials to showcase and promote future events. If you prefer not to appear in photos or videos, please notify the organizer at the beginning of the event, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
