About us
This group is for everyone who likes intellectual discussion and the sharing of ideas and values. It covers a wide range of topics - art, history, philosophy, economics, science, culture, sexuality, beliefs - whatever people in the group are interested in talking about.
Each session starts with one member talking about a topic they are interested in. We then discuss that topic. The group encourages diversity of opinion with a relaxed atmosphere that allows people to express themselves openly without judgment or hostility.
Each session will have suggested books and web articles to read and videos to watch so that we can have a quality, informed discussion.

Adam and Eve and Satan
C/ de València, 209, Barcelona, CT, ESThe story of Adam and Eve has had a huge influence on our collective history, and influences our attitudes even today. It has also inspired philosophers, artists and writers to create amazing works. In this session we will be looking at the origins of the story, how it evolved and how it was interpreted over time. We will also be looking at it in the history of the idea of Satan.
Please note that we will be approaching this subject in a creative and non-religious way which some people might find offensive.

This is a repeat of a session I've done various times. If you have already attended one of those sessions there is no need to attend this one as it will be the same.
This session will be led by James.
Bring beer/wine/drinks/food/snacks/whatever if you want to.
