San Antonio Public Library

Join San Antonio Public Library and the Filipino American National Historical Society – San Antonio for a presentation in celebration of Filipino American History Month exploring historical intersections and mixed-race or cross-cultural experiences. The event highlights connections between Filipina/o/x American, Chicana/o/x, African American, and Pacific Islander histories—from the Zoot Suit Riots to labor movements and San Antonio history—followed by an open community discussion.

Learn the basics or get help with that tricky stitch from members of the Alamo Rows Crochet Guild. This is a come and go event, no previous experience needed! Join us and connect with others who love to craft. Materials will be provided. All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
