Let's get-together for cycling excursions around Redwood Shores. Standard meet-up at Public Parking Lot near Oracle every Saturday and Sunday, generally at 9am for Group Riding. Fluid route(s) can accommodate a variety of skill levels and distances. Plus there are a few planned leisurely excursions throughout the cycling season. In training? Buddy up!

The Seventh Annual (Septennial) Civilized Century - Sunday, August 3rd, 2025
Our group's signature local event held the first Sunday in August. Great for first-time Century Riders; seasoned veterans looking for a scenic, day-off from climbing; or Recumbent and EllitpiGo bikes.
Route options - 35, 60, 75, and 100miles.
$40 youth/$65 adult/includes mini-meal.

Scenic Group Ride - no rider left behind. Leisurely pace to Orange Memorial Park and back (12-14mph). Climbing option to take Camp Sawyer Trail. Lunch afterwards if there's interest.
OPTION A: Scenic/flat ride to Orange Memorial Park (35miles RT, 3.5hours)
OPTION B: On the return, split off and take either San Bruno Ave (light climbing) or Hillcrest (STEEP climbing) into Camp Sawyer Trail (38-ish miles RT, 5-ish hours)

- Route and Bike Handling Safety TipsWill start from Civilized Century start/finish line (no restroom or water* - will stop along the way). Take a 13-mile ride to cover some of the challenging areas for novice and young riders. Leisurely pace - 1.5 to 2hours.
Session on how to change a tire - about an hour.
Feel free to bring new tire(s) and we will put 'em on.Conclude with question and answer session.
