Let's get together and have fun while making new friendships and exploring our beautiful part of the world. We are open to ideas and your participation will maximize the fun! If you love the outdoors, being active, movies, dining out, breweries, wine tasting, game nights, photography, etc. and generally have fun meeting new faces, then you are our kind of people. We'd love to show you around and help make Nevada feel like home! Our group charges no membership dues but donations are welcome and help us pay for the site.

Come enjoy learning about this historic building and the distilling business that it has now become. And enjoy a sample of some of their estate made spirits for yourself. The cost is $30 per person. Afterwards, we can perhaps have a cocktail in their beautiful bar area and go for dinner at one of the nearby restaurants.
Surrounded by the Sierra Nevada mountains and a short drive from Lake Tahoe, our state-of-the-art estate distillery is open to visitors for tours, tastings, and craft cocktails that highlight the terroir of our pioneer landscape.

Join us for a tour of the distillery built in 1906, Minden Flour Milling Company was the largest of five flour mills erected in Carson Valley from 1854-1906 and is the only one still standing today. We will guide you on a tour explaining the history of the town, the facilities which have been converted into our present-day spirit production facility.The buildings were operational until 1960 and were vacant and fell into disrepair before being renovated into a LEED Certified distillery and hospitality space starting in 2015. Today Minden Mill Distilling is part of Foley Family Wine & Spirits and our team strives to continue this property’s legacy by following the footsteps of those who were here before, using craftsmanship, patience, and precision to create a timeless portfolio of whiskies and fine spirits that will stand the test of time.
At Minden Mill, we’re forging a new frontier in American Whiskey with our meticulous estate distilling process. We oversee 100% of the whiskey-making process with the utmost care—from harvesting ancient grains from estate fields and sourcing snowmelt from the nearby Sierra Nevada mountains to distilling and aging at our state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Minden.
