Reclaiming Attention - Yoga for Life with Tuesday McNeill
Twickenham United Reformed Church, First Cross Road, Twickenham, GBReclaiming Attention - Yoga for Life
Where attention goes, energy flows and while the 21st century world keeps spinning on the axis of distraction, we get pulled further from our own centre.
The teachings of yoga have been tried and tested for centuries by those seeking a way to find calm amidst the storms of life, to deepen their connections to what matters and share the benefits of their practice with the world.
These classes offer the opportunity to become more familiar with some of the main principles of yoga through asana, breath awareness, contemplation and deep relaxation. The aim is to encourage a spirit of enquiry, through cultivating curiosity and engaging with 'the rich lens of attention'. You can join on an ad hoc basis or attend regularly.
Suitable for students who are looking to develop greater insight into the key principles of yoga and a more creative approach to their practice, each week explores different themes based on yoga philosophy, embodied awareness and heart-centred living.
