This popular, well developed. less than 5 mile hike travels the exposed west side of North Table Mountain. The total climb of only 600ft is mostly completed in the first half mile via a graveled roadway. Easy after that, it loops the Cliffs climbing area, explores Lichen Peak, continues along Tilting Mesa and Mesa Top trails to the pond and then returns. Expect partial sun, mostly dry trails, and temps in the 70s.
BRING: Weather appropriate gear, extra water, emergency info and personal safety needs, snacks for the trail and/or optional after-hike picnic. Well behaved dogs with tidy owners on leash are also welcome.
Linda will host this hike, so please be guided by her.
IMPORTANTLY, AS HIKING INCLUDES INHERENT RISKS, ANY ASSOCIATED PLANNING, COORDINATION, ADVICE OR ASSISTANCE OFFERED BY ORGANIZERS, HIKE LEADERS, OR FELLOW HIKERS IS ACCEPTED AT THE SOLE DISCRETION OF EACH HIKER AND EACH IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY AND PROPERTY.
